Biogen Idec is now building another 90,000-liter, world-class manufacturing facility located in Hillerød, Denmark, which is scheduled to come on-line in 2009. When this facility is operational, Biogen Idec will have nearly 200,000 liters of capacity for the manufacture of biologics.
